Ive been doing not only digital photography for the past four years but darkroom photography aswell. This week I finished my last ever photography project. The assignment was to mimic a famous photographer, print a minimum of five photographs that you photographed and three photographs from the artist, write a paragraph about each of them, then write an essay about your photographer.
I chose Jacob Riis because he photographed suffrage during the depression in New York city. He raised so much awareness and to me thats what photography should be about. Expression, emotion, the future, the past and many more things all in one photograph. Overall, it was a very fun assignment and for once I got to pick what I did! :)
